Dear Customers,

Summer is almost over, School is starting, and we are still pretty busy. We are usually quite slow this time of year but we are still a lot busier than usual. Lots of racers are trying out new combinations to get a jump on next year.

We will soon have a whole new look to our web site. Be sure to check it out. We have added 2 new pages to our site. They are both in the high performance section. One is for Rangers & Broncos, while the other is for early Oldsmobiles and Buicks.

New applications for Stock and High Performance.

Now that I can personally make some changes and additions to our web site, I will be adding new applications regularly. We have no plans for another printed catalog anytime soon but we will make an effort to have up to date information on our web site. We hope to have a current printed price sheet before the year is out.

We are sorry to say that Debra has left us again.  We have several good prospects to replace her and will have someone trained and in place well before January when our racing business starts getting heavy again.

 Winners:

CLC Auto Machine in Lynchburg, VA reports that Reggie Wilkerson has picked up 3 wins in his #29 Street Stock car at Natural Bridge Speedway, and Troy Dowdy, a CLC employee, had a recent win in the Pure Stock Class at Natural Bridge. Troy is a rookie this year and it is his first year driving a Stock car of any type.

Steve Drummond won super Pro at US-13 Dragway on Friday the 13th. Guess who he put out 1st round? He raced at Englishtown, NJ the next day and reached the quarter finals.

Dan Pogorzala of Pogo Machine & Salvage has had several winners at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, NY. In the Street Stock division. Leading the pack is points leader Rich Sinott in the #48 car with 6 wins, 8 2nds, and 1 3rd place finish. He is  followed by # 2 in points Alex Morris in the #43 car with 6 wins. Steve Buzzard in the # 3 car has 3 wins in the Street Stock class. In the Sportsman Division, Ray Maciver is the points leader and he has 5 wins.

Maynard Forrette of Northern Speed Supply, Amsterdam, NY, picked up a win in his # 78 Big Block Dirt Modified at Lebanon Valley Speedway in West Lebanon, NY.

We recently had one of our roller cams in an ASA car. It is the 1st time we have been in a long distance event.  The car qualified 2nd and finished 7th at Michigan. This team had been plagued with valve train breakage using a different cam. Our Torque Monster profile made within 10 horsepower of the parts breaker and was just as fast on the track. We have had several Sprint cars get a season of running 8,000+ rpm on one set of springs but this was our 1st long distance event that we know of. This engine ran 8,400 with no problems.

Don’t forget to check out our web site with all the new changes. It includes a neat screen saver for you to download. It should be up before Labor Day.

As always, we thank you for your support!

 Yours truly,

Charles, Harriett, Clarence & Chuck
