Dear Customers,

It looks like summer is almost over. Schools are open and our daughter Victoria is now at Elon College in North Carolina. Thus begins a new chapter in our lives after 30 years of having at least one child at home. We’re looking forward to it with some apprehension. This is when we discover what kind of job we did with this daughter. We’re confident she will do well.

Our racecar is ready to go but now the weather will not cooperate. Super Chevy Sunday, at US-13 Dragway in Delmar, De, was canceled last week and is rescheduled for Sept.3rd. The long-term weather forecast is not great for the weekend; I guess we’ll get out sometime soon.

New line of street performance cams to debut in October!

For several years we have been developing a new line of street performance cams. After much testing and excellent feedback from customers, we are ready to move into production. These cams feature shorter duration and a little higher lift than the generic profiles we offered in the past. Another significant difference is a smaller spread between intake and exhaust duration. We have found this to offer better performance and it makes these cams more computer friendly as well as offering better fuel economy. Jobber price will be about $145.00 for the cam and lifters covering the most popular applications. We will have some special pricing for quantities of 5 or more assorted cams.

End of year testing

This time of year we are making cam for people wanting to try something a little different than what they normally run. With the end of the racing season near and most points battles over, now is an ideal time to try out those ideas you’ve been thinking about for next year. That different chassis setup or a different cam can be tested without loosing valuable points while you get it sorted out. Then next season you have a jump on the competition. While they sort out their new ideas, you are showing them the quick way around the track. Don’t waste these valuable non-points weeks running your same old combination. Try new things to prepare for next year. The same applies to drag cars as well.
