Dear Customers,

Summer has really arrived and it has been hot & muggy to prove it. How long ago was it when we were too chilly? I’m ready for fall!

We did our home improvement project for the decade last month. We put in a patio behind the house. It turned out well but I’m not doing any more masonry work for about 10 years. Even though we had the site prep work done professionally done it was still a lot of work. We are enjoying it immensely.

Last month saw our first serious computer crash. While we didn’t loose any critical bookkeeping data, I did loose lots of valuable information that would make life a lot easier if I had it. Looking back on it I may have been able to remove the hard drive and take it to another computer and made a backup copy like I should have been doing right along. Don’t let it happen to you. Back everything up regularly.

`         June usually sees our sales volume flatten out or decrease slightly. Fortunately this June has been a little better and we have stayed pretty busy. We can often see the end of the work but UPS, trucks, and the phone bring in more before we run out. While it is nice to have a backlog, It is good to be able to give quick service to those who need it.

We have several new things to put up on our web site but our service provider, Delmarva Online, has been having problems with mail so we haven’t sent or received e-mail for almost 2 weeks. If you’re waiting for a reply to e-mail, we want to answer your mail. Hopefully it will be fixed in the next day or so.

          Attention Bronco & Ranger owners.

We have performance cams for most engines found in these vehicles. We’ve had  such great response from our web site on the 2.9L cams so we added more profiles for the 2.9 as well as new listings for the 3.0 & 4.0 applications. We are having trouble getting new semi billets for the 4.0 and 3.0 roller cams. We have reground the 3.0 roller cams with good results. We do have new castings for the 3.0L non roller engines 1986-92. Check out our web site soon.

Winners:

`         We had a number of new winners to feature in this month’s newsletter but they got wiped out by our computer crash and I haven’t had time to call around and reacquire that information. I usually start newsletters at the first of the month and as people call with racer news I put it right in the letter when I get it.

Alan Holmes of Lincoln County Auto Parts, Fayetteville, TN, continues to wear our the competition at Winchester Speedway in his #59 Open Wheel car. He also has several victories at other nearby tracks

Steve Drummond, of Drummond Race Cars in Laurel, DE. took runner up spot in Super gas at the recent NHRA Divisional race at Neumedia Raceway in PA. He was runner up in Super Pro recently at US 13 Dragway in Delmar, De.  He has been on an impressive roll the last few months.

Don’t forget we are looking for pictures of customer cars to put up on our web site. If we had all the pictures people promised us it would take 3 days to scan them into the computer.

I’m going to cut this a little short so we can get statements out. They are already late waiting for this letter.

        Thank you for your support!

Yours truly,

Charles Harriett, Clarence, Debra & Chuck
