Dear Customers,
Disaster has fallen on the Reichard and Baker families. Our beloved son in law Stan Baker died of Ischemic heart disease on October 26th, just 1 day short of his new son’s 1 month birthday. It was devastating to all of us. The outpouring of support from Betty & Stan’s friends and employers was amazing. Our good friend Jim Newcomb flew us to Ashville the next day and we stayed with Betty for a week. Her sister Victoria has moved to Ashville to live with Betty. She was planning to do this at the end of the year but moved it up to Thanksgiving.
We now have a catalog devoted to Antique Performance Cams. They are selling briskly. Call or e-mail for your copy. It is now on our web site. All cams listed are ground on new castings and include flathead Fords, all Nailhead Buicks, Poly 318 Chryslers, 49-64 Olds 324, 371, and 394, Y Block Fords, 270 & 302 GMC, 348 & 409 Chevys and many more. Some of these castings are only available through Camcraft. We prefer to send via e-mail or you can download directly from our web site. Just ask! charles@camcraftcams.com. Be sure to put something appropriate in the subject line, like Antique cam catalog, or it may get deleted. They are in Microsoft Excel format. We have a limited supply of printed catalogs for the Computer/Internet challenged individuals.
We stock many new factory performance profiles and have a catalog for those as well. We offer 4 of the factory mechanical 348 & 409 cams as well as custom grinds. They are the 348 Duntov 350 hp cam, the 409 hp Mark IV, the 425 hp Mark VI and the 430 hp Z-11. There are many more as well like 429 and 428 CJ and SCJ, 390 GT, Ram Air Olds & Pontiac, and Chrysler 340, 440 & Street hemi . Get yours today.
We have 1.6 ratio rocker arm assemblies
for 318 Poly Engines and 1.55 ratio assemblies for the 2.8 & 2.9L Ford
engines. These are modified stock rockers. We can change the ratios on other
cast rocker assemblies as well.
Pettit Racing Engines powered Donnie Carlson #26 to a win in the Pro Stock class at the big Syracuse race.
Ravon Clark, of Clark’s Automotive in Reidville, NC powered Bert Myers to a series Championship in his #1 ASA Southern Modified car.
Tim Groski powered Joe Williams # 19 to a win in the DIRT Sportsman Modified Class.
Ted Christopher was the track champion
at Stafford Speedway in the SK Modified class. His #13 car was powered by
Carlquist Comp Engines.

We still have available: 1996 Chevy extended cab 1 ton dually, HD tow package w/ 6.5L turbo diesel, new 10 ply tires on rear, Silverado package with turbo wing, visor, full length running boards, 5 speed trans, recent clutch, ATS exhaust. 83,000 miles. Very sharp truck. We recently drove it to Syracuse NY and averaged 16.87 mpg with a moderate load.
