Dear Customers,

          It’s that Santa Claus season again. It seems the Christmas shopping season starts earlier every year. Halloween wasn’t even over before Christmas stuff hit the shelves. The work slowdown this year was not as bad as last year. November was actually pretty busy for us. I hope December will be even better.

We wish you all a happy holiday and a prosperous New Year

Christmas Schedule;

          We will be closed from 5:00pm Wednesday Dec 23rd through Tuesday Dec. 28th. We will be open Wednesday Dec. 29th through 1:00 pm Friday Dec. 31st   Things will return to normal Monday. Jan. 3rd. Please advise the appropriate people on your staff so they may plan accordingly. UPS & Fed-X shipments will come in as usual.

Johnson Lifters

          We will are now stocking Johnson lifters.  They have reopened and have 80% of their original employees back, as well as their original casting supplier. We are pleased to be a distributor for this fine product line. As planned we will have special tray pricing for popular numbers. Call for details. Our prices will be decreased on many numbers, even in set quantities. The maximum savings is realized with 3-tray quantities drop shipped direct to you. Of course we will quote on larger quantities.

There will be a price increase January 1, 2005. We have not finalized it yet but it will be in the neighborhood of 4-8%. The Camshaft industry has undergone some drastic changes in the last year or so. Our inventory of semi finished castings and steel billets has increased dramatically due to the continuous shortage of material, higher minimum order requirements, and long lead times. This has put a strain on our operating capitol. We have absorbed e few increases but it is necessary to pass these costs on to our customers.

Winners

Bill McGowan owner of Sonic Speed Machine in Queenstown, MD drove his 2.5L Modified hydroplane #A37 “Sonic Speed” to the Region IV Championship. He was 4th in the nation.

At the Ransomville Speedway’s annual King of the Hill Pro Stock race sponsored by Josh Comp, Roger Chrysler in the T21 car took top honors followed by Jip Ortez. Engines from Pogo Machine & Salvage powered the top 5 cars in that race.
