Dear Customers,
It’s that Santa Claus season again. It seems the Christmas shopping season starts earlier every year. Halloween wasn’t even over before Christmas stuff hit the shelves.
Lots more shops are reporting slow time though quite a few have a few engines with deposits for freshening up for next year. Our race engine builders reported this past year saw a normal to slightly higher number of freshen up jobs but noticeably fewer complete new engines ordered.
Christmas Schedule;
We will be closed from 5:00pm Monday Dec 23rd thru Friday Dec. 27th. We will be open Monday Dec. 30th & 31st then closed again Tuesday Jan. 1st. Things will return to normal Wed. Jan. 2nd. Please advise appropriate people on your staff so they may plan accordingly. UPS & Fed-X shipments will come in as usual.
Christmas Specials
Gift certificates w/ 10 % Bonus!!!
All gift certificates purchased from Dec 1 to Dec 21, 2000 may be redeemed for 10 % more than the face value. This offer ends Dec. 21. Don’t miss this opportunity to give that special person 10 % more Christmas than you thought you could afford. If you need help selecting a personal gift rather than a gift certificate we will be glad to help and give you a 10% discount. You must ask for this special. It is not automatic.
Price increases
We will have a small price increase this year. It will not be an across the board hike like last year but rather an average 2-5% increase on certain items. Cams likely to see the greater increase are Chrysler and Ford. This is due to the fact that they have taper in two directions and the Fords have much more material to remove than other cams.
More champions
Keen’s Automotive powered Jim Martin’s # E-43 5.0 litre hydroplane, The Keene Machine, to a APBA region 4 Championship. They were second in the nation and placed second in the Super Series as well. With over 50 boats in the class, 5.0 litre is considered the most competitive class in APBA racing.
We are continually concerned with providing better service. If you have any complaints or suggestions on how we can improve our service, please let us know.
This is the time of year when we reflect on the year 2002, how well we have done, and how thankful we are for your patronage and support in making 2002 a very good year for Camcraft. We wish you and your families a wonderful holiday season. We look forward to serving you in our 32nd year of survival in the automotive aftermarket.
If you’re not running a Camcraft cam you’re probably following one!
Yours truly
Charles, Harriett, Clarence, Chuck & Johnny
