Dear Customers,

          It hardly seems possible but Nov 4th is the 1-year anniversary of my heart surgery. It’s hard to believe how much better I feel and how much more energy I have. Thank God for modern medicine.

The end of the racing season is here and somehow we are still pretty busy.  Business seems to be spotty for most people right now. Some people are busy; others are about dead in the water. Most of our regular race engine builders are fairly busy

Thanksgiving schedule;

          We will be closed the 25th and 26th for the holiday. We will be open again Monday the 29th for business as usual.

 Web Site

          Always check our web site for the latest up to date information on new products and services. Whenever we have something new it is posted to our site. It has regular additions sometimes weekly and our monthly newsletter is usually up by the 1st week in every month.

Lifters

          We will shortly be stocking Johnson lifters.  They have reopened and have 80% of their original employees back, as well as their original casting supplier. We are pleased to be a distributor for this fine product line. As planned we will have special tray pricing for popular numbers. Call for details. Our prices will be decreased on many numbers, even in set quantities.

Winners

          Minter Racing Engines, Stanley Town, VA, powered Tim Lewis #2 Pure Stock car to a class championship at Oak Level Raceway. He won 14 of 15 races this year.

          A & A Engine Dynamics, Lake Hopatcong, NJ is a well known engine builder in the APBA inboard classes.  Father and son team of Al Grabinski Sr and Al Grabinski Jr have been involved with APBA for many years. They had an impressive year.

They powered Bobby Kennedy (a 4th generation driver) in George Kennedy Sr’s 2.5L Stock Hydroplane to a 2nd place finish in the National High Points.

          In the Jersey Speed Skiff class, Bill Pierce and Kenny McMullen in CODE RED waged a heated battle all year against Dave Greenlaw and Tom Pakradooni in VERY CHERI. In the end VERY CHERI took the top honors with CODE RED in second place. Both boats were powered by A & A engines.

          In the 5.0L Hydroplane class the Grabinskis powered Donnie Thompson in the BATT BOAT to several titles including 2004 Summer National Champion, 2004 APBA Region 4 Champion, 2004 North American Champion, 2004 MACH Series Champion, and the 2004 National High Points Champion. He also finished 2nd in the Canadian Extreme series.

On the Antique Tractor pulling scene Joe Pilotte of Newport, VT reports his Case VAC is undefeated in the 3000 lb class.

We got a nice letter and picture from Mike Goble in Fairfield CA. who competed in an Endurance race in Mexico recently. His 331 SBC powered Nova finished second in class behind a Corvette and 8th overall in a field of 70 cars. His letter and picture will soon be on our web site on a new page called testimonials.

The 2004 racing season is closing and
