Dear Customers,

We are celebrating the arrival of our Grandson Graydon Charles Baker. He was born Sept 27th. He weighed 9.24 lbs and was 21 inches long. Harriett was there for the delivery. I will drive down on the 4th to help celebrate the great event and bring Harriett home. Mother & son are doing well. Betty & Stan are now embarking on the most important adventure in their lives. We think they will both be great parents.

We will resume normal Friday hours October 5th.

We have had a pretty good surge of racing business lately as people prepare for the big end of the year races like Syracuse, Martinsville, Myrtle Beach and Thompson.

Our orders for our Antique Performance cams have increased significantly as well. Be sure to keep us in mind when you are rebuilding that old Nailhead Buick or 409 Chevy. We can give you significantly more power while maintaining a nice smooth idle. Of course we can accommodate those who want a little lopey idle as well. They are ground on new castings. Check out our catalog on our web site under Antique Cams, You’ll be surprised at what we offer. We also have a small catalog of Factory Performance cams as well

      Polished lifters

The popularity of our polished lifters is continues to increase. We get a consistent 2-3 ra finish and that reduces wear significantly. Try some today!

Notes with cams & Lifters sent in for grinding

Despite constant reminders to include notes with cams & lifters sent in for grinding, we still get a surprising number of boxes coming through the door that have no instructions included. They go to never-never land for a couple of days before we call. Don’t get upset if your work gets delayed because you forgot to include instructions. While a box of lifters seems simple enough, we cannot identify all lifters by sight alone. It is necessary to know what they are so we can grind the proper radius on them. Talking to me in advance doesn’t count. I almost always make a point to say, “Be sure to include a note” to everyone I talk to. It is practically automatic! By the time your cam or lifters get here I will have talked to a huge number of people. I can recall it but not without a note to jog the old memory.

PLEASE SEND A NOTE WITH EVERYTHING!!
