Dear Customers,

As much as we enjoy Florida, I am sure glad we don’t live there. We managed to sleep through hurricane Charlie when we were in Sanford but we did see and deal with the aftermath. It’s hard to believe they had 3 more since then. We hope our Florida friends fared well.

We want to welcome aboard our newest employee, Danny “Houdini” Ewing. Danny has been with us a few weeks on a trial basis and has worked out well. He will now become a full time employee. He is a drag racer with a low 10-second Vega powered by a screaming 331 SBC and a 4 speed Lenco. He has worked in the body shop business for 35 years.

New mechanical lifters

Our plans for new Small Block Chevy mechanical lifters are in a state of flux right now. There are some exciting new developments that will likely affect our plans. Things should be finalized in the next couple of weeks. They will include a new style lifter for Ford and Chrysler as well.

Taylor profiles & Tractor Pulling profiles

We now have our Tractor pulling profiles on the web site. There are also more Taylor profiles as well. There are a few more Taylor profiles we need to get sorted out but most are there. Check em out!

Notes with cams sent in for grinding

Despite constant reminders to include notes with cams sent in for grinding, we still get a surprising number of cams coming through the door that have no instructions included. They go to never-never land for a couple of days before we call. Don’t get upset if your stuff got delayed because you forgot to include instructions. Talking to me in advance doesn’t count. In fact I usually make a point to say “Be sure to include a note” to everyone I talk to.
