Dear Customers, September was a busy month for us. We spent time with our consultant and did lots of new designs. We spent several days in the Carolinas prospecting for new customers, visited my mother in Sarasota for a few days, and spent a glorious day and night at the Grove Park Inn while visiting our daughter Betty and then had a brief visit with daughter Victoria at Elon College. This all took 10 days and boy were we ready to get back home. Clarence did an admirable job while we were gone. Things got pretty hectic for him at times but he took it all in stride despite training a new employee at the same time. We want to welcome aboard Johnny Person. He has been with us a few weeks on a trial basis and has worked out pretty well. He will now become a full time employee.
New lobe designsThe exciting news is we will have a new series of .904 lobes for Chryslers. They are designated XTLC. They feature 27 degrees major intensity and reduced peak positive acceleration on the closing side. We have covered durations from 234 to 256 @.050 every 2 degrees. These profiles have moderate lift with generous nose radius to permit high ratio rockers without excessive cam loading. They were also designed to maintain an acceptable nose radius even on small block Chevy size lobes. Other additions include 3 new lobes in our .390 lift roller series. They are 246, 252, and 256 @.050. These lobes have been especially popular in Hooters Pro Cup racing. We also have added some shorter duration lobes to our .842 designs. We now have a 234 duration / .333 lift SXTL lobe and a 230 duration / .323 lift XTLS lobe.
Winners & ChampionsRemember many of our customers do dot want us to publicize their accomplishments as they are very secretive about what cams they use.
