Dear Customers,
Summer is really here now and July 4th celebrations are upon us. We are hosting a baby shower for Betty on the first. We will get to see a lot of her old friends from all over the country. It will be great fun.
Along with the good, there must be some sad. Our beloved Aunt, Nancy Reichard, of Dunwoody, GA passed away recently. We buried her at Rest Haven Cemetery in Hagerstown, MD. She will be sorely missed. There was a good side as we got to spend time with our cousins Scott & Bailey whom we seldom see. Scott lives in Utah and Bailey lives in Alaska. We ate crabs and sweet corn as we got caught up on our lives.
Summer hours
Don’t forget our new Friday hours. We close at 2:00 pm on Fridays. Be sure that you notify your people that need to know.
Polished Lifters
There has been much discussion about the value of polishing flat tappets to improve the wear characteristics. It is felt this procedure is beneficial to increased cam and lifter wear. After considerable investigation and R&D, we are now offering this service. Polishing improves the finish from dramatically. This will decrease friction and give longer wear.
Antique Performance Cams
Sales are picking up on our line of antique performance cams. Remember we have new performance cams for many of the old engines from the 50s and 60s. Applications covered include the Nailhead Buicks, Cadillacs, Oldsmobiles, 318 Poly Chryslers, 348-409 Chevys, Y Block Fords and others.
