Dear Customers,

Spring break is about over and hopefully all your children made it back to school ok. It won’t be long before they are out of school for summer break.

Stock car racing starts up in most mid Atlantic States this month and engine builders are scrambling to get everybody’s engines completed on time. New England tracks open the 1st of May.

We have said it before and here it is again. We cannot grind cams with gear on them except D-8 Cats. Many of those have gears made on the shaft and they are not very big. The price to remove gears will not be reasonable and will delay your job at least a day or so. You wouldn’t send a crank out to be ground with the flywheel on it so please don’t send your cam with a gear on it. It also makes it more difficult to package for shipping.

HLLM Series; A low lift race series based on our HMT series. More radical and only a little harder on valve springs. Proper maintenance is important. These have a much shorter .004 duration than current HLL series

We also have a mechanical 240 duration @.050 with a .316 lobe lift based on our XTLS profiles. It is specifically intended for .460 lift rules checked with lash such as the NASCAR Grand Stock class in Virginia. We will probably add a 244-duration profile soon.

We also added a 242 degree @.050/ .286 lobe lift .874 mechanical profile for the .460 lift class for the Ford racers using 1.6 rockers. It is based on our XTLFS series and requires .874 diameter lifters.

We depend on repeat business and referrals. We can’t make a silk purse out of a sow’s ear but we can help upgrade your racing program no matter what level you are.

Check out our web site soon. We will have pictures of our shop and employees. Our Daughter Victoria is working on a PowerPoint presentation that will be on our web site before long.

As always, we thank you for your support.

Yours truly,
