Dear Customers,

For those of you that didn’t know, I recently underwent a cardiac catheterization to check a leaky heart valve. I recovered well from that but it looks like I will have to have to have a valve job. The rest of my heart and arteries are in good shape. I will probably have it done in the fall just after racing season. Recovery time is 6 weeks but I can be back in the office in 2 weeks

It always amazes me how people have forecast the coming winter as severe or very cold for the past few years, yet the winters seem to be milder each year. It sure didn’t happen this year. We have had an unbelievable amount of snow so far this year. 5 more inches and we will have had the most snow since about 1899.

Racing season will soon be going full blast. All of our race engine builders are very busy while the other sectors of the aftermarket are still slow. Several tracks in Virginia open the 1st of April and others soon follow. Drag racing has started in Delaware with the usual rainouts.

We hope to make a trip to Keen’s Automotive  in Smithfield, VA to tune our Monza on their Chassis dyno. The Monza is for sale but we want to see it run to its potential and be sure everything is A-OK for the new owner whom ever that may be.

Don’t forget our new .904 profiles. We have had good reports on the few cams we have ground using them. Several have been for Chevrolets. These profiles will maintain an acceptable nose radius even on SBC cams. There seems to be a lot of interest in the Chrysler engines but they are expensive to build and have a weight disadvantage as well. They do seem to have a definite power advantage. Hopefully we will see more Chryslers on the track this year.

Be prepared for the new season with a state of the art Camcraft cam.

      Run one or Follow one.
