Dear Customers,
We are a month into 2004 and so far everything looks good. We had a very busy January. We missed a day because of snow recently and Clarence has missed a few days so we are a little behind. Or heat has been mostly out for a couple of weeks so we are cold as well.
Victoria made it back from Europe with no trouble and had a great time. She arrived at Dulles airport at about 2:30 pm and spent about an hour at home before leaving for Elon. She got back to school just hours before the ice storm hit.
Drag strips will be opening near the end of this month and their regular season will start in March. Oval tracks will start opening in early April. Be ready!
Harriett and I will be on vacation from February 26th until March 10th or 11th. We will spend a few days with our consultant and some time calling on customers. If you know you will need technical assistance about that time period, please try to do it before we leave. We may return a few phone calls while we are away but there will be days when we will not be available. Do not expect Clarence to help much with tech questions. If he says he doesn’t know then don’t waste your time or his talking about it. Just ask him to get me to call you back and hope it doesn’t take too long.

Our apologies for our recent slow service. Clarence has been out for over a week with a back problem and since he grinds almost all of the cams, not much has gotten done. I have done a few cams but not nearly enough. Clarence is back and feeling fine now so we should get caught up soon. We do have a new part time employee, Steve Elzey, who grinds small block Chevy flat tappet cams so we are pretty current on those.
If you’re not running a Camcraft cam
You’re probably following one!!
Thank you for your continued support!
Yours truly,
Charles, Harriett, Clarence, Chuck, and Stephanie
